Singaraja –Students from the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University, namely Pande Ketut Raditya Adi Kusuma (Class of 2020) and Ketut Wahyu Megananda Kesuma Putra (Class of 2020) represented Indonesia as posters presented in the event Japanese Society of Medical Oncology Annual Meeting 2023 (JSMO 2023) which will be held in Fukuoka, Japan.
JSMO is a routine annual activity carried out by the Japanese Society of Medical Oncology. This activity includes several activities, namely, presenting research results in both poster and oral form, discussing key issues related to the accessibility of cancer care, promoting clinical research related to cancer, and training specialists in drug therapy for cancer.
In this activity, representatives of the Undiksha Faculty of Medicine had the opportunity to present research entitled “The Potency and Utilization of Resveratrol-Based Amorphous Nanostructured Lipid Carrier (ANLC) Lipid Nanoparticle Technology from Grape Extract (Vitis vinifera L.) in the Management of Breast Cancer” in the form of a poster and managed to get an award in the form of a “Travel Grand Award”. Apart from that, delegates also had the opportunity to take part in an activity called “Meet the Experts”. In short, this activity is a lecture held for 3 days with a different topic each day and of course, discusses the development of cancer science in the world.(Red_FK)
