Singaraja – Friday, November 8, 2024. The Faculty of Medicine (FK) at Ganesha University of Education hosted a series of Expert Lectures for first and second year students from the S1 and D3 Midwifery Study Programs. These lectures focused on two important themes in the midwifery sector, aiming to deepen the understanding and skills of the participants. The first session was delivered by Bdn. Yeni Kodi Nanga, S.ST.Keb., who presented on “Communication in Midwifery Practice.” She highlighted the significance of effective and empathetic communication in providing quality services to patients. The second session was led by Ni Luh Putu Withari, S.Tr., Keb., S.KM., M.AP., who discussed “Nutrition for Pregnant Mothers’ Mental Health: The Relationship between Eating Pattern and Emotional Well-being.” Her presentation emphasized the vital role of proper nutrition in supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of pregnant mothers. These lectures provided valuable insight into the essential aspects of communication and nutrition in promoting maternal and child health.
