Singaraja –To provide the best service to patients, a doctor certainly needs to collaborate with other medical personnel. To collaborate well, understanding and collaboration skills are very necessary. Skills are not just a gift from birth, but skills are abilities that are obtained from diligent and continuous learning.
Realizing the importance of collaboration skills in the world of medicine, the Season 1 Batch 2 Scientific Meeting is here as a facility for medical study program students to practice good, correct, and effective collaboration and communication skills. Season 1 Batch 2 Scientific Meeting was held via Zoom meeting on Sunday, September 17, 2023. Season 1 Batch 2 Scientific Meeting presented 3 competent and experienced presenters, namely Dr. Ni Luh Putu Pranana Sastri, S.Ked., MHPE with the topic “The Role of Small Group Discussions (SGD) in Learning Objectives”. Next, there were two students from the Undiksha Medical Study Program who also shared their insights, namely I Putu Krisna Wiryantara with the topic “How Team Work Makes Your Work More Effective” and I Komang Tri Yasa Widnyana with the topic “Building and Forming Knowledge: The Role of Group Discussion in Achieving Learning Objectives”.
The material presented at this Scientific Meeting is very relevant for medical students not only in the world of lectures but also in the organizational realm. It’s not surprising that this topic made participants very enthusiastic to participate in the activity from start to finish. As one of the work programs of the Undiksha Medical Department Student Association organization, the Scientific Meeting will continue and be held periodically to improve the hard skills and soft skills of the Ganesha Education University Medical Study Program community.(Red_FK)
