Singaraja – Today (Tuesday, May 23, 2023), the Nursing Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University held an expert lecture on the topic “Herbal and Dietary Supplement Therapy” to fulfill the nursing pharmacology course. Expert lectures are lectures conducted by resource persons who are considered to be trusted sources of certain techniques and expertise and who have the ability to assess and decide things correctly, well, and in accordance with existing rules.
This expert lecture was very interesting, the material was presented by apt. I Putu Agus Yulyastrama, S.Farm., C.Herb, who is a practicing pharmacist andOperational Manager from Sidhakarya Wellness Journey and moderated by Ns. Made Ririn Sri Wulandari, S.Kep., M.Kep., who is a lecturer in Nursing at the Undergraduate Program at FK Undiksha. This expert lecture activity was carried out as a form of collaboration between the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University, and the Sidhakarya Institute.
This expert lecture was the 3rd expert lecture attended by all Batch I nursing students (2022) and nursing lecturers, with a total of 20 participants. In contrast to the two previous expert lectures, this expert lecture was very interactive as can be seen from the interaction between participants and resource persons. Material “Herbal and Dietary Supplement Therapy” This was chosen because of the demands for learning outcomes stated in the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) and in accordance with the vision of the Nursing Study Program, FK Undiksha Undergraduate Program, namely “Producing Excellent Nurse Graduates in the Field of Tourism Nursing Based on Philosophy“Tri hit karana”.
The study program management hopes that the material provided can help lecturers and students in recognizing, providing, or recommending herbal and dietary supplements when they become a nurse who graduates from the FK Undiksha Undergraduate Nursing Study Program and has tourism nursing competency.(Red_FK)
