Singaraja –Higher education institutions are expected to continue to improve their quality, especially in the academic realm. In an effort to improve academic quality, the D3 Midwifery Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Undiksha, is developing and reviewing the study program curriculum through various programs, one of which is through curriculum workshops. On Tuesday-Wednesday, 11-12 April 2023, the D3 Midwifery Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, held a Curriculum Workshop at the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University. The participants in this activity were all Midwifery Lecturers in the Faculty of Medicine. Through this activity, it is hoped that all lecturers can increase their insight and have a positive influence on the learning process in particular and academics in general. So that later the study program is expected to produce superior midwife graduates in tourist areas based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy.
This activity was opened by the Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Cooperation at Undiksha, Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I. This activity was also attended by the Secretary of LP3M and Deputy Dean II, Deputy Dean III, and Head of Lab, Faculty of Medicine.
This activity presented Mrs. Dr. Yanti, M. Keb as resource person. He is a representative of the central Indonesian Midwives Association (IBI) who also often guides the development of the curriculum for Midwifery study programs in Indonesia.
On the first day of the activity, material was presented by the resource person as well as an assessment of the study program curriculum, then on the second day it was continued with a workshop resume presentation by the study program coordinator and presentation of RPS study material by the lecturer. So the results of this activity are the results of curriculum development and learning instruments. The results of curriculum development have also been adjusted to the vision and mission of study programs, faculties and universities.(Red_FK)
