Singaraja –Various efforts to improve the quality of learning for the Midwifery Study Program, Undergraduate Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University, have been carried out. One of them is holding a Workshop on Refining the Excellence Curriculum for the Undergraduate Midwifery Study Program on Thursday, March 16, 2023.
Taking place in the Faculty of Medicine building, this activity was attended by all Midwifery and Medical Faculty lecturers. Lecturer participation in this activity is very useful for deepening knowledge and knowledge for the excellence of the Undergraduate Midwifery Study Program.
The workshop activity was opened by the secretary of LPPPM Undiskha, Dr. I Gusti Lanang Agung Parwata, S.Pd., M.Kes who was mandated to deepen the meaning of the tri hita karana philosophy, so that it can be applied within the Faculty of Medicine, including the Midwifery Study Program.
Experts in improving the midwifery characteristics curriculum present Prof. Dr. Nengah Bawa Atmadja, M.A, a Professor who is an expert in the field of Religion and Culture, dissecting the Tri Hita Karana Philosophy which is related to medical elements. Currently, medical science can be compared between traditional and modern medical systems with scientific, postmodernist, socio-cultural, institutional, and formal juridical paradigms.
This workshop activity was also accompanied by the Deputy Dean III of the Faculty, Dr. Made Budiawan, S.Ked., M.Kes., AIFO, hopes that midwifery lecturers will have a deep meaning towards Tri Hita Karana so that they can put it into every point of the midwifery core course. After attending this workshop, midwifery lecturers will get an in-depth and detailed picture and more insight into the meaning of THK, so that it can be a reference in including the THK component in the Midwifery Core Course which is linked to the Vision of the Undergraduate Midwifery Study Program, namely Producing Midwife Graduates who are Excellent in the Field of Reproductive Health in Tourism Areas Based on the Tri Hita Karana Philosophy.
The usefulness of this activity is considered very profound for improving the Undergraduate Midwifery Study Program Curriculum according to the vision that has been set.(Red_FK)
