Singaraja – The 2023 HMJ Medicine General Election (PEMIRA) which aims to elect the chairman and deputy chairman will take place on March 10. The Medical Department Student Association (HMJ) specifically held an Open Debate for Candidates for Chair and Deputy Chair. Through this event, prospective leaders were given the opportunity to convey their vision, mission, and grand design directly. The aim of holding this Open Debate is to test the maturity and readiness of the candidates for chairman and deputy chairman, as well as to provide the audience with a way to learn more about the capabilities and suitability of the prospective chairman and deputy chairman for the future development of HMJ Medicine.
The Open Debate at PEMIRA HMJ Medicine 2023 was attended by two pairs of candidates. Candidate pair for chairman and deputy chairman number 1, I Made Bayu Chandra Dwipa Dana and Alifah Zalfa Andritia Prameswari. Chairman and deputy chairman pair number 2, I Putu Duta Mahardhika and Ni Putu Putri Anggita Sari. This Open Debate was carried out in an open manner offline at the Undiksha Medical Faculty Building and also broadcast online via YouTube. (28/2/2023)
This open debate began with a presentation of the Vision Mission and Grand Design, then continued with a debate that was divided into 3 segments, namely Segments I, II, and III.
In segment I there is a debate regarding Vision and Mission and Grand Design. The two pairs of candidates asked and responded to each other regarding the Vision Mission and Grand Design that had been presented. This segment lasts 10 minutes. Followed by segment II is an open debate between candidate pairs consisting of 3 motions. Candidate pairs will respond to the specified motion and provide each other with questions and objections to the responses of other candidate pairs. This segment lasts 60 minutes. In the last segment, namely segment III, there is a question and answer session and suggestions from the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, represented by Deputy Dean III (Dr. dr. I. Made Budiawan, S.Ked., M.Kes., AIFO.), Coordinator of the Medical Study Program (Dr. Dr. Made Kurnia Widiastuti Giri, S. Ked., M.Kes), HMJ Medicine Supervisor (dr. Ida Ayu Diah Purnama Sari, Sp. KK), Chair of BEM FK Undiksha (Kadek Dwi Cakra Diningrat), Chair of HMJ Medicine ( I Kadek Indian Prayoga), and Deputy Chair of HMJ Medicine (Ni Putu Tia Adnyani).
The prospective leaders had very heated arguments and expressed their opinions. Both pairs of candidates conveyed brilliant ideas to make HMJ Medicine better, and it is hoped that whoever is elected as chairman and deputy chairman will always do their best.(Red_FK)
