Singaraja –Herodicus Medical Scientific Writers of Undiksha (Hermestha) is a Semi-Autonomous Body organization that operates in the scientific field at the Undiksha Medical Faculty. Even though this organization is still relatively young, namely about to reach its 3rd year, Hermestha has been able to produce superior human resources in the scientific field both nationally and internationally. To celebrate Hermestha’s 3rd anniversary, the 3rd Anniversary of Hermestha committee initiated 3 main activities, namely Social Charity of Hermestha, the National Scientific Webinar, and the Peak Event of the 3rd Anniversary of Hermestha.

Social Charity of Hermestha or what is known as Hermestha Social Service is a community service activity that targets people who need it more. This time, the Social Charity of Hermestha organized social service activities by distributing several basic food packages to the people of Singaraja City and held a service at the Narayan Seva Orphanage on February 12 2023 which was opened directly by the Deputy Dean III of FK Undiksha, Dr. Dr. Made Budiawan, S.Ked., M.Kes., AIFO. This Social Charity of Hermestha activity consists of providing donations in the form of coaching funds, basic necessities, suitable clothing, as well as books and stationery to children in orphanages. Apart from that, the Social Charity of Hermestha activities were accompanied by socialization activities about “Clean and Healthy Living Behavior and Tips for Maintaining Physical Fitness”, free health services for orphanage children, group exercise, fun games, and ended with eating fruit. together as well as the performance of the orphanage children and Hermestha members.

The Social Charity of Hermestha activity this time carries the theme “Harmony in Diversity to Create Solidarity Generation of Hermestha” which means that we as the young generation must be able to collaborate by sharing elements to be able to harmonize our relationships in various aspects of life ranging from religious life, humanity, to the environment. surroundings. One way to realize Tri Hita Karana in the humanitarian field is by serving and carrying out community service through the Social Charity of Hermestha.

With this activity, it is hoped that FK Undiksha students, in this case, Hermestha members who are superior and based on Tri Hita Karana, will always be sensitive to the environment and increase social awareness to be willing to share love with people in the surrounding environment.
