Singaraja – Midwifery students have a very high sense of caring, this is proven by holding a blood donation at the Midwifery Campus on July 9 2022 in the context of Community Service with the theme“SHARE YOUR BLOOD, SHARE YOUR CARE”.
I Gusti Agung Ayu Gayatri Komala Dewi as Chair of the Committee explained that this activity was one of the HMJ Midwifery work programs which had been carefully prepared and prepared. Blood donation action in collaboration with PMI Buleleng Regency. Previously, the committee was worried that this activity would be devoid of donors because it coincided with Eid al-Adha 1443 H, but it turned out that this action was quite busy with donors, including the Deputy Dean III of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. I Made Budiawan, S. Ked, M.Kes., AIFO and Midwifery Study Program Coordinator Ni Nyoman Ayu Desy Sekarini, S.ST., M.Keb who also donated blood. Deputy Dean III invited residents of the Undiksha Faculty of Medicine to share blood, “A Drop of OUR Blood is Very Meaningful for THEIR Lives”.
Blood donation is also very beneficial for the donor because the body, through the spinal cord, will work to replace the blood loss that occurs. Blood donation will stimulate the production of new red blood cells, thereby helping maintain our body’s health. (TFK)
