Singaraja– The Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University (FK-Undiksha) is still very young. Steps to create superior and competitive graduates continue to be rolled out. One of them is preparing learning tools for the Medical Professional Study Program curriculum. This was finalized through a focused discussion which took place in the Buleleng Hospital Meeting Room, Wednesday (3/11/2021).
This activity involved clinical teaching staff, lecturers, doctors in the Medical Professional Education Study Program, and FK education staff. This activity is intended to provide understanding and guidelines for the preparation and updating of learning tools for the medical professional stage in an orderly and good manner.
Deputy Dean III FK Undiksha, Dr. Made Budiawan, S.Ked., M.Kes., AIFO., who opened the activity, explained that learning at the Medical Professional Education stage is a continuation stage after students complete the Bachelor of Medicine stage. This learning process is a continuous stage and is carried out over 2 years or 4 semesters. “In order to support the learning process later, it is necessary to have learning devices available so that the process runs well,” he said.
It was further stated that the activities for compiling and updating learning tools include young doctor guidebooks, young doctor logbooks, and clinical educator guidelines. “This learning tool is a necessary learning tool in the educational stage of the medical profession,” he explained.
He hopes that through this step, FK Undiksha can produce prospective doctors who are competent in their fields and have competitiveness. To make this happen, it is hoped that the support of relevant stakeholders can continue. This activity presented two speakers from Udayana University, Dr. Dr. Dyah Kanya Wati, Sp. A (K) and Dr. Kunthi Yulianti, Sp.FM.(hms)
