Singaraja – Who doesn’t know the last faculty of UNDIKSHA, the Faculty of Medicine of course? The faculty, which was founded in 2018, is characterized by the color PURPLE as the color of the faculty’s alma mater and currently has 4 classes with very brilliant and proud achievements, both at the national and international levels.
This time, FK Undiksha again won achievements at the national level. Class of 2019 student on behalf of Made Suda Cakra Wibawa, made his mark by winning 3 nominations including 1st place in the National Essay Contest Miracle HMKM FK Unud, 1st place in the 2021 National Retina Essay Contest FK UWKS and 3rd place in the World Cancer Daya National Essay Contest FK Unud.
The competition will be held from November 2020 to July 2021, if the implementation is explained: the World Cancer Daya FK Unud National Essay Competition starts from November 2020 to February 2021, then the National Miracle HMKM FK Unud Essay Competition starts from April 2021 to May 2021 and the competition The 2021 FK UWKS Retina National Essay starts from June 2021 to July 2021 of course through a very mature process to be able to win 3 competitions at once and a very long struggle. In terms of preparation time, essays are prepared for a minimum of 1 month. During this time there are several stages, (1) making the framework; (2) framework consultation with supervisor; (3) creation of works.
In the 2021 World Cancer Day National Essay Competition, FK Unud, I raised the latest diagnostic modalities for HCC (hepatocellular carcinoma) cancer. The reason for creating this work is that there are problems with current diagnoses which often make mistakes, so modalities with much higher specificity and sensitivity are needed.
For the 2021 HMKM FK Unud National Miracle Essay Contest, I proposed making a hand sanitizer from basil leaves and aloe vera which was integrated with an internet base. The reason for making this work is that the price of hand sanitizer is still expensive and many use dangerous chemicals such as H202. On the other hand, the function of hand sanitizers can still be optimized from just being a hand sanitizer to being a material that provides information to the public.
Meanwhile, in the 2021 FK UWKS Retina National Essay Competition, I created an application construction to overcome burnout in health workers. The reason for creating this application is the high burnout rate of health workers (83% moderate and severe burnout). This application will provide a structured and systematic assessment regarding levels of burnout. Then, the application will help solve it.
The participants who took part in this event were very diverse in their ideas and of course, came from universities throughout Indonesia. More than 100 participants took part in these competitions and Cakra (Student’s nickname) was able to win and win the championship title in these events with a very long process.
In a short interview with Cakra, in the future, Cakra has the desire to take part in another competition at the international level so that Medical Tourism Bali will be better known in the eyes of the world. Continued success for Cakra.
