Singaraja –Thursday, December 2, 2023, is the last day of the Hermestha SCALE UP implementation. SCALE UP consists of various series of events, starting from the Opening, Upgrading of Hermestha Members, divisional internships, scientific training, and ending with the Inauguration of Young Hermestha Members. At the opening of the SCALE UP Hermestha event was attended by Dr. I Putu Suriyasa, M.S., PKK., SP.OK., (Deputy Dean 1), dr. Made Bayu Permasutha, S.Ked., M.Biomed (Guardian of Herodicus Medical Scientific Writers of Undiksha), Staff of FK Undiksha, Staff of the Organizational Working Group (POKJA) within Undiksha, Functionaries and Young Members of Hermestha FK Undiksha. SCALE UP in 2023 received quite high enthusiasm from the class of 2023.

Scale Up (Scientific Learning, Internship, and Upgrading) Hermestha is an educational and training activity for prospective young members to learn more about science. These educational and training activities are needed to become standardization for prospective young Hermestha members. This activity will enable all young Hermestha members who join to understand Hermestha and the scientific fields covered by Hermestha. This activity will take the form of training from resource persons, both internal and external, according to the number of clubs in Hermestha. After participating in this activity, participants will choose scientific clubs to use as a workplace. This activity will be the beginning for participants to explore their respective potential in the scientific field by choosing the clubs available in each of the scientific divisions that exist next. The theme of the 2023 SCALE UP activity is “Set Up Your Goals, Scale Up Your Skills”.

The material at SCALE UP 2023 is very interesting. It provides new insights for its members and functionaries, such as the material “Inspiring Through Visuals: Creativity in Making Posters and Videos” by: I Putu Duta Mahardhika, “Effective Methods for Writing Scientific Papers and Scientific Articles” by: Kadek Edy Sukarma, “Development of Critical Thinking Skills Through Written Debates and Essays” By: Pande Raditya Adi Kusuma, “Technological Innovation as a Driver of Entrepreneurship” By: I Putu Krisna Wiryantara. Meanwhile, on the 2nd day, there was material consisting of “P2MW and PPK Oramawa” By I Wayan Pardi, S. Pd., M. Pd., “Get To Know About Hermestha” By Putu Sathiya Adi Janendra, “Building Spirit Competition and Steps for Competition Success” By David Christopher Tjandra, “Rooting BAPIN-ISMKI” By Kadek Intan Arta Sarita. The SCALE-UP event was officially closed by Dr. Made Budiawan, S.Ked., M.Kes., AIFO by confirming prospective Young Members to become Hermestha Members. At the closing ceremony, class performances and awards were also held as a sign of the completion of SCALE-UP in 2023.(Red_FK)
