Tabanan – Community service is an activity that aims to help a particular community in several activities without expecting any form of reward. In general, this program is designed by various universities or institutes in Indonesia to make a real contribution to the Indonesian nation, especially in developing the prosperity and progress of the Indonesian nation. Community Service Activities are one part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
Located in Peken Belayu Village, Marga District, Tabanan Regency, HMJ Medicine FK Undiksha held a CONSER activity (Community Service And Teleconference) with the theme “CANDRAWASIH (Promote a clean and healthy life against hypertension and gouty arthritis)”. This CONSER activity is a form part of Community Service activities that are carried out collectively in different places. The event was opened directly by HMJ Medicine supervisor Dr. Ida Ayu Diah Purnama Sari, Sp. KK.
The CANDRAWASIH theme was used because community service activities in Peken Belayu Village provided free health checks such as blood pressure checks and uric acid checks. Also present was the director of Buleleng Regional Hospital, Dr. Arya Nugraha, Sp.PD, at the same time, was also a resource person by providing material on “Hypertension and Gouty Arthritis”.
It is hoped that in the future there will be community service carried out again by FK Undiksha students which will have a big impact on public health.(Red_FK)
