Monday, May 13, 2019, seemed very busy in the Undiksha Jinengdalem Faculty of Medicine building. At 08.00 today, it was the students’ agenda to take the OSCE exam. This exam is one of the exams from the Faculty of Medicine given to students, using a practical exam where each student will act as a doctor.
Students will enter a room that has been prepared by the laboratory assistants and of course, there is a time for each session. In the room, there will be 1 examining lecturer and in each room the cases faced by each student are different. Here students are expected to be able to overcome various problems faced by patients and of course, provide solutions under procedures as a doctor.
If in this exam a student in one of the rooms does not pass or fails, then the student is obliged to retake the exam in the room where the examining lecturer judged to have failed. The time to retake the exam cannot be planned, several rules must be followed by students who do not pass in one of the rooms to take the reexamination later.
