Singaraja – Located in the Integrated Health Laboratory Building, Seminar Room, 3rd Floor, Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University, a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activity took place on Preparing Programs and Determining Budget Allocations for 2025 for the Faculty of Medicine with the theme “Realizing Programs and Budget Allocations as Performance Accelerators for FK Undiksha”. This activity will be held for 2 days from January 22-23 2024.
The FGD activity was chaired by Putu Irma Pratiwi, S.Tr.Keb., M.Keb. This event was attended by the ranks of the Dean, Administrative Coordinator, Head of Lab, Head of GKM, Study Program Coordinator, Head of Department, Laboratory Coordinator, Student Advisor, lecturer staff, staff, and students at the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University.
The FGD event was opened directly by the Head of the Finance and General Bureau, Ni Luh Wayan Yasmiati, S.H., M.Pd. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of careful planning in preparing programs and budgets to support the achievement of the faculty’s vision and mission.
The Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha University of Education, which has seven study programs, faces the challenge of arranging programs and budgets that suit the needs of each study program while considering the overall faculty strategy. The purpose of holding this FGD is to develop a program and determine the budget allocation for the Faculty of Medicine for 2025 in the form of planning documents and the 2025 RKA-KL format. It is hoped that the results of this FGD can become the basis for making strategic decisions in 2025.
In this activity, discussions were held regarding budget preparation by considering various aspects, in the Academic Sector: FGD with a focus on curriculum implementation, development of innovative teaching methods, integration of technology in learning, and research and service activities that are in line with the latest trends in health. Finance, Human Resources, and Housekeeping Sectors: Discussion includes budget allocation for resource procurement, efficient financial management, plans for developing lecturers and educational staff, as well as facilities at the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University. Student Affairs, Public Relations, and Alumni: The FGD has discussed strategies for improving the quality of services for students, alumni development programs, efforts to improve relations with the community through public relations activities, as well as promotion and communication strategies.
The hope is that the implementation of this FGD can improve the quality of education and human resources, meet the ratio of lecturers and education staff, provide adequate infrastructure, and develop student activities to hone students’ soft skills.(Red_FK)
