Singaraja –Friday 29/07/2022 a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activity for Preparing the Vision and Mission of the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University took place. This event was held in a hybrid manner (online and offline) in the Multipurpose Room, Floor III, Faculty of Medicine, Undiksha. This event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Undiksha, Prof. Dr. M. Ahmad Djojosugito, SpB, Sp.OT(K), MHA, MBA, FICS.
This Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was attended by the Secretary of the Institute for Learning Development and Quality Assurance at Ganesha University of Education, who in this case was represented by the secretary, namely Dr. I Gusti Lanang Agung Parwata S.Pd., M.Kes, Deputy Dean I dr. I Putu Suriyasa, M.S., PKK, Sp.OK, Deputy Dean II Dr.dr. Ni Luh Kadek Alit Arsani, S.Ked., M.Biomed and Deputy Dean III Dr. Made Budiawan, S.Ked., M.Kes., AIFO as well as invitations from Lecturers in the Undergraduate and Medical Professional Study Programs, Lecturers in the D3 Midwifery Study Program, Faculty of Medicine Teachers, alumni, Buleleng District Health Service, Buleleng District Tourism Office, Buleleng District General Hospital, Satellite Teaching Hospitals, and Affiliated Hospitals. Apart from that, several professional organizations were also present, including the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Buleleng Branch, the Indonesian Midwives Association (IBI) Buleleng Branch, and the DPD Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI) Buleleng Regency.
This FGD activity invited 1 resource person, Drs. I Wayan Muderawan, M.S., Ph.D. who was a resource person in the FGD activity for preparing the Vision and Mission of Ganesha University of Education
This activity is very important considering that currently, FK Undiksha has 3 study programs, namely the Bachelor of Medicine Study Program, the Professional Doctor Study Program, and the D3 Midwifery Study Program. In 2022 FK Undiksha is also proposing 4 new study programs, namely the Bachelor of Nursing Study Program, Nursing Professional Study Program, Bachelor of Midwifery Study Program, and Midwifery Professional Study Program. With these 4 new study programs, FK will have 7 Health study programs where a Vision and Mission are needed that can cover all these study programs. Vision is a value and ideal. Vision will be the perspective and spirit that underlies performance. The vision is then described in mission, goals, and strategies.
GKM FK as an extension of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty level initiated an FGD for the preparation of a vision and mission where later the vision and mission determined will become one of the starting points in determining the Faculty’s strategic plan and reno to achieve quality internal quality which is the main task of GKM in implementing the System. Internal Quality Assurance (SPMI).
With the vision and mission that will be produced, it is hoped that it will be a guide for FK Undiksha to progress and develop. Based on this background, the GKM Faculty of Medicine considers it very necessary to hold a “Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the preparation of the vision and mission of the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University in 2022.
The final aim of this activity is to produce the vision and mission, goals, and objectives of the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University. (TFK)
