Singaraja – The Medical Professional Program Student Competency Test (UKMPPD) is the only exam held by the state for prospective Indonesian doctors to obtain their medical degrees. This exam was previously known as the Indonesian Doctor Competency Test (UKDI). The main requirement to be able to take part in UKMPPD is that every medical student must complete pre-clinical and clinical education and be declared a graduate by their respective medical faculty.

This exam consists of 2 parts, namely a computer Test (computer-based test) and an OSCE/Objective Structured Clinical Examination (doctor and patient roleplay test). UKMPPD participants are declared to have passed and received a medical degree if the participant successfully passes both tests (CBT and OSCE). If both have not passed, you need to retake the exam in the part you have not passed in the next period (participants are declared caretakers). Computer-Based Test Competency Test for Medical Professional Program Students (CBT UKMPPD) is a multiple choice-based theory exam carried out simultaneously using a computer for all UKMPPD participants.

For the first time, FK Undiksha participated in the “2023 National Progress Test for Medical Education”, preparing facilities and infrastructure quickly. A total of 73 FK Undiksha students, this tryout activity was held in the FK Undiksha CBT Lab and the D3 Information Management Computer Lab (13 November 2023) which started at 7.30 and ended at 11.30. The activity was chaired by the Undergraduate Program Coordinator of Medical Education, Dr. Made Kurnia Widiastuti Giri, S.Ked., M.Kes. ran smoothly and orderly.

The success of the activity cannot be separated from the participation of UPA ICT Undiksha which in this case assigned 2 technicians as Local IT (Gede Arna Jude Saskara, S.T., M.T and Made Agus Januharsa, S.Kom) and not forgetting the teamwork of the admins in the study program. Undergraduate Medical Education Program.

In the future, the UKMPPD Progress Test will be held again, which will be held in January 2023, followed by preparations in December 2023.(Red_FK)
