Singaraja – The D3 Midwifery struggle led by Mrs. Luh Nik Armini, S.ST., M.Keb. as Coordinator of the Study Program produced very satisfying results in making UKOM D3 Midwifery activities which are usually carried out at other institutions now able to be carried out at home Based Alone. After many years of carrying out UKOM activities at other institutions, this time D3 Midwifery “Perdana” carried out this activity at PUSKOM Undiksha. Sunday, 15 August 2021 at PUSKOM UNDIKSHA, UKOM (Competency Test) activities were held for D3 Midwifery students.
This UKOM activity is carried out in accordance with the COVID-19 PROKES of course. Start with checking body temperature, wash your hands, continue using a 2-layer mask, and wear gloves (handscoon) during the exam.
UKOM itself is one of the graduation requirements for D3 midwifery students that must be completed in order to later be able to take part in GRADUATION. There were 94 students who took part in this UKOM activity, including students from the class of 2018 and alumni students. The activity was divided into 2 sessions, with session 1 totaling 60 participants divided into 4 rooms and session 2 totaling 34 divided into 2 rooms. Each session of working on 180 questions takes almost 4 hours. After completing each exam session, UKOM participants (students) will be quarantined for 30 minutes before leaving the exam venue.
The UKOM committee itself involves several lecturers from D3 Midwifery and employees within UNDIKSHA (PUSKOM and FK). Meanwhile, for supervisors, D3 Midwifery collaborated with STIKES Buleleng who brought in 2 lecturers to help in this UKOM activity. UKOM took place from 9 am to 16.30.
The activity was coordinated by Mrs. Ketut Espana Giri, S.ST., M.Kes (D3 Midwifery Lecturer). runs smoothly and under control. The solid cooperation of the UKOM committee made this UKOM activity controlled and successful as expected. (TFK)
