This relatively young faculty is again holding activities that focus on community service. Who would have thought that this activity would be held in Wall Village, a category of villages located in remote areas? The enthusiasm of the students of FK Undiksha did not fade in carrying out this activity even though the location of the activity was said to be far away.
The activity was held from Saturday 8 February 2020 to 9 February 2020. Accompanied by one of the Academic and Student Affairs staff, Putu Gede Arya Putra WIbawa, S.ST.Par the group departed from Singaraja at around 5.30 am and arrived at the location at around 7.00.
The initial community service activities for FK students started with a visit to SD N 1 Wall. The agenda at SD N 1 Wall is to distribute stationery to the students of SD N 1 Wall, besides that, another agenda created by FK Undiksha students at SD N 1 Wall is listing activities. Students are divided into several teams and each team will enter their respective class at SD N 1 Wall. Joyful, cheerful, and happy expressions were visible on the faces of the students at SD N 1 Wall, and of course, they were very enthusiastic about participating in this activity.
The next agenda, on the 2nd day, FK Undiksha held a free health check in Wall Village. The same as on the first day, the residents were very enthusiastic about accepting this activity. In addition, there are several medicines that are given free to the public according to the patient’s diagnosis, of course.
The event was closed at exactly 12 noon by Mr. Dr. Adi Suputra, S.Ked., M.Kes. A thank you note was given to FK Undiksha by the Wall Village “We are very happy that our children were given donations which are very useful for them and thank you for holding free health checks and medicines in our village environment”
