At the meeting which took place in the Ganesha II Rectorate Room, the Chancellor of Undiksha was attended directly by the Chancellor, Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd with his staff and the Quality Assurance Center (PJM). The Chancellor from South Kuta, Badung said that accreditation received serious attention for Undiksha’s eighth faculty. This is not only important for increasing public confidence in making it an option to receive education but is also able to increase the grade of the institution. “By 2020 we must have B accreditation,” he assured.
He further stated that this accreditation needs to be prepared carefully, starting with documents, Human Resources (HR), and supporting facilities following the seven established standards. “This must be prepared as well as possible. “It has to be a commitment,” he added.
The Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha University of Education (FK-Undiksha) is not yet a year old. However, preparations for accreditation of medical study programs and the medical profession have begun to be prepared. This matter was discussed in the coordination meeting.
Meanwhile, Vice Chancellor II, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd emphasized that the institution fully supports the success of the accreditation. Including the procurement of facilities and infrastructure. “What is still lacking, can be coordinated. “The institution is very supportive of this accreditation,” he said.
Deputy Dean I FK Undiksha, dr. I Putu Suriyasa, M.S., PKK., Sp.OK explained that his party had made preparations in terms of documents. Apart from that, we have prepared assistance from other universities that previously had FK. It is hoped that this will further strengthen readiness. It was also conveyed that in education, FK Undiksha, which has a specific function, namely providing services in the tourism sector, has collaborated with a number of regional general hospitals in Bali. “Preparations for accreditation continue to be strengthened,” he explained.
