Saturday, 18 May 2019 at the Jinengdalem Undiksha campus, FK Undiksha again held a National Seminar with the theme “Socialization of Blended Learning in Medical Education, Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University in 2019”. The seminar brought in 2 speakers, namely, the Head of the Online Learning Development Team, Dr. I Gde Wawan Sudatha, S.Pd., S.T., M.Pd, and Prof. Dr. Irawan Yusuf, Ph.D from Hasanuddin University.
Mr. Deputy Chancellor 1 Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Arnyana, M.Si said that online learning actually started in 2018, but this learning has only just been used in MPK courses (Personality Development Courses). With the development of this learning model, not only students will be encouraged to be disciplined but lecturers will also become disciplined with this model. Innovation after innovation has been carried out with the shortcomings of the system that was previously created.
In the future, in 2019 it is hoped that this learning model will be used not only in MPK courses but will allow it to be used in other courses. FK Undiksha is included in the ranks of faculties that are expected to use this learning model. Apart from being a faculty that will use the online learning model, FK Undiksha is expected to become a superior online learning model because the activities carried out by FK are currently in line with the Undiksha program.
Online learning is very well developed at FK Undiksha. Previously, this learning model was very commonly used in learning at universities, looking at current technological developments which are increasingly rapid, this online learning model is very suitable to be developed again. In order to realize the success of this learning model, thorough preparation is required, in terms of materials, infrastructure, and Human Resources (HR).
