Singaraja – Who doesn’t know FK Undiksha? Undiksha’s 8th Faculty always makes surprising breakthroughs for the progress of the Faculty which was founded in 2018. Not only academically oriented, FK Undiksha also plays an active role in community social activities.
This time, one of FK Undiksha’s study programs, namely the Midwifery study program, carried out an open donation. The Undiksha Midwifery Department Student Association carried out open donation student activities on Sunday (28/11/2021). The activity entitled “The Injection Of Love Spreads The Virus Of Affection To Others” took place at the Destawa Orphanage.
The implementation of this humanitarian activity was under the guidance of student affairs Ketut Espana Giri, S.ST., M.Kes. Even though it is a pandemic, this does not prevent HMJ Midwifery from continuing to carry out humanitarian activities by going directly into the field.
The implementation of this activity was appreciated by the manager of the Destawa Orphanage, Ketut Sutresne. The assistance provided by students and HMJ administrators is in the form of money, basic food supplies, suitable clothing, and personal hygiene. The enthusiasm of the children at the Destawa Orphanage is very clear. The friendliness of the children welcoming the open donation activity team increased the enthusiasm of the midwifery students in carrying out their duties.
This activity is carried out of course with the hope that it can provide encouragement to orphanage children to continue fighting to achieve their goals even in the Covid-19 pandemic situation. In the future, the Midwifery Study Program will carry out this useful activity in different locations. (TFK)
