Singaraja –Providing quality midwifery education requires a quality system, both in terms of input, process, and output. To find out the overall and continuous results of each stage of the learning process, evaluation in the form of exams is very necessary. One of these stages is the OSCE Method Examination (Objective Structured Clinical Examination).
The exam is intended not only as a measuring tool for mastery, understanding of knowledge, and student’s ability to apply their professional scientific competencies but also as feedback on the education implementation process. The aim of implementing the OSCE is to assess the success and effectiveness of providing education to students of the D3 Midwifery Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University in 2022.
The OSCE exam will be held in 2 days, namely 18 and 19 August 2022, and will be held every day starting at. 07.30 to 14.00 WITA. The activity, chaired by the D3 Midwifery Study Program Coordinator, Mrs. Ni Nyoman Ayu Desy Sekarini, S.ST., M.Keb, was carried out in the OSCE laboratory room at the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University.
The stations used are 7 rooms (5 maneuvering stations and 2 rest stations). The OSCE exam was taken by 45 semester VI students of the Ganesha Education University Midwifery Study Program. It is hoped that with this OSCE exam, midwifery students will be able to implement the knowledge gained while still studying and during PKL (Field Work Practice). (TFK)
