Singaraja – Tri Hita Karana comes from the words “Three” which means three, “Seen” which means happiness, and “Karana” which means cause. Thus Tri Hita Karana means “Three causes of the creation of happiness”.
The fundamental essence of Tri Hita Karana contains the meaning of three causes of prosperity that originate from the harmonious relationship between humans and their God, humans and their natural environment, and humans and each other. By applying this philosophy, it is hoped that it can replace the more modern view of life individualism, and materialism. Cultivating Tri Hita Karana will be able to eradicate encouraging views of consumerism, dispute, and turmoil.
Carrying the Tri Hita Karana theme, this time the FK Undiksha FGD was implemented for all lecturers within FK Undiksha. This activity took place at The SILAS’S Agrotourism (23/10/2022) Ds. Candikuning, Kc. Baturiti, Kab. Tabanan.
The event, which was opened by Mrs. WD II FK Undiksha, apart from being attended by FK Undiksha lecturers, was also attended by several employee representatives to take part in this activity. Starting with outbound activities which were organized directly by the Team from The Sila’s Agrotourism, followed by a lunch together, and as a closing event, representatives of the lecturers and also present Mr. WD III contributed several songs.
It is hoped that with this FGD activity, the implementation of Tri HIta Karana will be implemented more thoroughly so that in the future FK Undiksha with its unique characteristics of Tourism Medicine will be even more at the forefront. (TFK)
