Singaraja – Located at the Mercure Hotel, Kuta, Denpasar, the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University is carrying out a workshop with the theme “Increasing the Competency of Education Personnel within the Medical Faculty of Ganesha Education University.” The event is held offline from Friday to Saturday, 1 to 1 July 2, 2022
Remember that this workshop is very important because educational staff are one of the important components that play a role in the process of providing education and services in higher education. Apart from that, educational staff are also supporters of universities in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and achieving the vision of the institution so that the quality of teaching needs to be improved through various activities such as workshops, training, seminars, and so on. So, to increase this understanding and insight in each educational staff, it is very necessary to carry out a Workshop on Improving the Competency of Education Personnel within the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University.
This workshop was attended by Deputy Dean II, Mrs. Dr. Dr. Ni Luh Kadek Alit Arsani, S. Ked., M.Biomed, Deputy Dean III Mr. Dr. Made Budiawan, S.Ked., M.Kes., AIFO, Coordinator of Bachelor of Medicine Study Program Mrs. Dr. Dr. Made Kurnia Widiastuti Giri, S.Ked., M.Kes., Coordinator of the Medical Professional Education Study Program, Mrs. dr. Ni Nyoman Mestri Agustini, S.Ked., M.Kes., M.Biomed., Sp.N. and D3 Midwifery Study Program Coordinator, Mrs. Ni Nyoman Ayu Desy Sekarini, S.ST., M.Keb, as well as all medical faculty staff.
The workshop activity was opened by the Head of the General and Financial Bureau of Ganesha Education University, namely Mrs. Ni Luh Wayan Yasmiati, SH. Apart from being tasked with opening the event, Mrs. Yas (her nickname at Undiksha) is also the first resource person in this workshop activity.
Amid her presentation as a resource person who at that time discussed in general how our function as a staff is, there was one message he made that made the hearts of the workshop participants enthusiastic in pursuing a career in work, “Work sincerely, honestly and politely and your fortune will not where are you going”
This workshop activity invited 2 resource persons the first resource person, Mrs. Ni Luh Wayan Yasmiati, SH, gave a presentation of the material, followed by the second resource person, Mrs. Dra. Retno Indaryanti Kusuma, M.Kes., Psychologist.
The material presented by Mrs. Dra. Retno Indaryanti Kusuma, M.Kes., Psychology is the Application of Self Mastery for educational staff. Mrs. Retno taught the participants how to change their mindset which only focuses on their comfort zone to dare to leave that comfort zone if they want more. His topic in the workshop was very interesting, apart from giving an oration, he also invited the participants to play with fellow students with the aim of “understanding the mindset of friends in a team.”
This workshop activity was carried out so that the staff in the Undiksha Medical Faculty environment, know the competence of each Undiksha Medical Faculty educational staff, improve the performance and professionalism of the Undiksha Medical Faculty educational staff, know the career development projections for each Undiksha Medical Faculty educational staff so that they can prepare types of training that need to be carried out for the career development of educational staff within the Faculty of Medicine, Undiksha.
