Singaraja– Reported from the Undiksha websitehttps://undiksha.ac.id, the Integrated Health Laboratory at Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) was inaugurated by the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Prof. Ir. Nizam, Ph.D., Tuesday (11/1/2022). The building, which was built with funds from State Sharia Securities (SBSN) in 2021, is expected to improve the quality of learning at Undiksha, especially for the Faculty of Medicine.
After the inauguration, Prof. Nizam who was accompanied by the Director of Resources, Dr. Mohamad Sofwan Efendi immediately inspected the building. According to him, the building work is quite good and it is hoped that it can be put to good use. He also emphasized that to create an advanced university, what is important is not only the facilities but also the programs. It is hoped that this will become Undiksha’s attention.
“With the increase in facilities at Undiksha, education at Undiksha will be of even greater quality and become an example for regional universities to advance not only in terms of facilities but in terms of programs. “Advancing in learning, in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education,” he said.
Undiksha Chancellor, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., said that after the inauguration, the laboratory building would be used as soon as possible, especially for the Faculty of Medicine. “The move from Jinengdalem has been carried out since the end of December 2021, just waiting for the even semester of the 2022 academic year to move to the new building,” he explained.
It was further stated that in educational transformation, there are input, process, and output. One of the instrumental inputs is educational infrastructure. Chancellor Jampel believes that with this laboratory, the quality of the learning process can be better, as will the output. “With this building and complete equipment, the output will be better.
For information, this building was completed in mid-December 2021 with a contract value of around IDR 68 billion. Previously, a soft launch was also carried out by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. (hms)
