Singaraja – A team of lecturers and students from the Faculty of Medicine (FK) at Ganesha University of Education has successfully secured first place in an international article competition, winning in the “Best Method” category. The award-winning article, titled “Correlation of Age, Body Mass Index, and Age of Menarche with Hemoglobin Levels in Adolescents in Singaraja,” highlights a remarkable accomplishment for the authors. The team was led by Made Anggita Abdi Jayanti and comprised Nyoman Gita Laksmi Maharani, Desak Radha Nityanandeshwari, Putu Duta Mahardhika, Made Amanda Cipta Dewi, Ni Nyoman Ayu Desy Sekarini, Putu Irma Pratiwi, and Luh Nik Armini.
Competing against teams from renowned universities worldwide, the article stood out due to its innovative research method. The study analyzed the correlation between age, body mass index, and age of menarche with hemoglobin levels in adolescents in Singaraja. The findings offer significant contributions to health sciences, particularly in understanding the factors influencing adolescent health.
