Singaraja –Who doesn’t know the last faculty that was established in 2018 at Undiksha, FK Undiksha? Every year various types of achievements are always made by this faculty. This time again, FK Undiksha students made a very proud achievement.
Students from the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University, on behalf of I Komang Tri Yasa Widnyana from the 2022 Medicine study program, became a delegate from FK Undiksha and Hermestha FK Undiksha who won third place in the EXCESS Scientific Essay competition (Explotion of Chemical Engineering Study Activities) in 2023 which will be held by the Chemical Engineering Student Association, Faculty of Engineering, University of Lampung. This competition will be held from 25 – 28 May 2023 at Lampung University, Bandar Lampung Province.
EXCESS 2023 (Explotion of Chemical Engineering Study Activities) is an annual activity carried out by Himatemia FT Unila. Competition with the theme “Optimizing Energy Transition Through Technology Innovation and Application of Renewable Energy” This was carried out offline and all grand finalists presented their work in front of a panel of judges who had been prepared by the committee. With the background problems in the form of conditions in an era of rapid industrial growth, the level of carbon gas emissions has also increased. This has a negative impact on both the environment and the creatures in it. EXCESS (Explosion of Chemical Engineering Study Activities) 2023 is an activity organized by the Chemical Engineering Student Association (Himatemia) Faculty of Engineering, University of Lampung. The essay itself is a competition intended for D3/D4/S1 students from Departments/Faculties throughout Indonesia. This essay competition aims to build a spirit of competition in the scientific field and has an important part in terms of creativity, competitiveness, public speaking, and innovation which is contested by students throughout Indonesia.
The competition begins first with a selection of works essay Then a total of 15 works will be selected which will proceed to the grand final stage to make a live presentation of the essay work that has been created at the University of Lampung on May 26, 2023. In this competition, the representative of the Undiksha Faculty of Medicine in the name of I Komang Tri Yasa Widnyana often nicknamed Komang Tri had the opportunity to qualify and become one of the grand finalists and present a research in the form of making a detergent product in the form of an Ecofriendly Detergent called LEGENT (Lerak for Ecofriendly Detergent) with the main ingredients being natural materials which are a type of new, renewable energy. Komang Tri Yasa, the second-semester medical student, won third place in the Scientific Essay competition at the EXCESS competition (Explotion of Chemical Engineering Study Activities) in 2023. The success achieved by this FK Undiksha student cannot be separated from the guidance of the supervising lecturer, Dr. Made Bayu Permasutha, S.Ked., M.Biomed.
It is hoped that the competition that Komang Tri Yasa is taking part in will be a new step in starting something useful and always honing one’s potential to become a higher quality person in the future, Komang Tri Yasa also said to always be consistent in trying and giving the best at every opportunity. what you have and do it to the best of your ability, don’t forget to add prayer which must always accompany it.(Red_FK)
