Singaraja –BKKBN issues a Genre program and selects ambassadors every year. Genre Ambassadors function to disseminate information to their peers or the community regarding family development, including adolescent health. Undiksha, through the Student Activities Unit, Information and Counseling Center for Students Concerned with AIDS and Drugs, again selected Genre Ambassadors for 2022, which was attended by 29 female participants and 10 male participants from various faculties at Undiksha. This activity starts from June 1 to June 29, 2022. In the Grand Final, 5 of the 29 female participants were selected and 5 were also selected for men. The activity was opened by Vice Chancellor III, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd.
At the Grand Final, all finalists carried out banner presentations, public speaking, talent displays, general interview tests, and fashion shows. Student of the D3 Midwifery Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Made Diva Aprilliasih Arya Putri succeeded in winning runner-up 2nd Undiksha Genre Ambassador 2022. Even though she is still in the second semester, Diva (as she is called) has high enthusiasm to continue studying and participating in activities until the end. A proud achievement during her busy studies as a midwifery student, Diva always follows strict and disciplined training. With the tagline “BRAVE”, namely Be Careful, Responsible, Avoid, and Education, Diva offers 3 work programs, namely Genre Goes to TBM Abhinaya Sagraha, Genre Education, and Genre is My Life.
Diva’s success cannot be separated from the support of Deputy Dean III, Dr. I Made Budiawan, S. Ked, M. Kes., AIFO, and HMJ Midwifery Supervisor, Ketut Espana Giri, S.ST., M.Kes. Diva’s family and friends also provided support during this activity. “I hope Diva doesn’t stop here, in fact, Diva has just started her new task of inviting teenagers to be more active in positive activities and increasing partnerships so they can carry out community service,” said the HMJ Midwifery Supervisor.
