Singaraja – In an effort to improve the quality of Midwifery Education within the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University, various efforts have been made, one of which is by holding a workshop on preparing LEDs for the D III midwifery study program. The activity took place at the Midwifery Campus Jl. Bisma Bar. No.25A, online (5/6/2023).
This activity lasted for 2 days from 5-6 June 2023 and was attended by lecturers from the Faculty of Medicine who were members of the team preparing the D III midwifery accreditation form. The lecturers’ participation in this event was very useful for preparing the Self Evaluation Sheet (LED) which will be uploaded in the next few months.
This workshop was opened by Dr. I Putu Suriyasa, M.S., PKK., SP.OK as deputy dean I of the medical faculty at Ganesha Education University (UNDIKSHA), he hopes that the team of lecturers who are part of the preparation of the LED can have a deep understanding of the self-evaluation sheet in preparation for later accreditation so that the study program D III midwifery can get the maximum score in accreditation.
The speaker in preparing this LED presented Mrs. Rr. Catur Leny Wulandari, S.SiT., M.Keb who is currently the Head of the Undergraduate Midwifery Education and Midwifery Professional Education Study Program at Sultan Agung Islamic University (UNISSULA) Semarang and has delivered UNISSULA’s undergraduate and professional midwifery study program to achieve BAN-PT superior accreditation. It is hoped that his experience in successfully boosting UNISSULA’s midwifery accreditation can accompany and provide input regarding the LED that has been prepared by the team.
In this activity, Mrs. Rr. Catur Leny Wulandari, S.SiT., M.Keb provided material regarding the self-evaluation report study program accreditation instrument which was presented in detail from criteria 1 to criteria 9. He provided important input from each criterion and clearly explained how the team The preparation of LEDs can write down the performance of the study program, identify problems, and formulate ways to solve problems which will later be evaluated to improve or increase the quality of the study program.
The medical faculty lecturers who were part of the LED writing team got an in-depth picture and broader insight into writing self-evaluation sheets after attending this workshop. The usefulness of this activity is considered very profound in preparation for accreditation of the D III Midwifery study program, medical faculty, Ganesha Education University.(Red_FK)
