Singaraja –Dies Natalis is a commemoration of a birthday which in most cultures is considered an important event that marks the beginning of life’s journey. Therefore, for generations, this commemoration has been celebrated with gratitude and happiness. This event is usually better known among organizations or universities. Especially for a university whose main function is to produce quality academic scientists.
One of the universities that is well known both domestically and abroad is Undiksha, which annually celebrates its Dies Natalis. This time, Undiksha is celebrating its 30th Anniversary. This activity will be more interesting and lively than the previous year’s Anniversary activities. Having 9 Faculties and 1 Postgraduate, Undiksha requires each faculty and postgraduate to prepare competition contingents, including competition contingents in the academic, arts, and sports fields (Lecturers/Staff and Students) to participate in enlivening the 30th Anniversary event.
The Faculty of Medicine (FK) is the last faculty that was founded in 2018. Having 5 study programs (S1 Medicine, Medical Professional Education, D3 Midwifery, Bachelor of Nursing, and Bachelor of Midwifery), FK Undiksha will be ready to take part in all branches of the Anniversary competition which will be held later.
Located in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Faculty of Medicine Building (19/12/2022), the academic community held a meeting to prepare for the Dies Natalis competition for each contingent. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Dean II and the Deputy Dean III. In Mr. Deputy Dean III’s presentation, there were a few sentences that were interesting and worthy of appreciation: “Winning or losing doesn’t matter, the point is teamwork and solidarity. Let’s “PURPLE” the Dies Natalis atmosphere later.”
The hope of holding this Dies Natalis is to get to know all Undiksha residents, both lecturers, and staff, there is no difference, we are all the same, always united, solid, and remain enthusiastic. (TFK)
