Singaraja –The Regional Medical Olympiad (RMO) is a competition event for medical students under the auspices of the Indonesian Medical Student Senate Association (ISMKI) Region 4. RMO 2023 will be held offline at the Faculty of Medicine, Tadulako University, Palu, Central Sulawesi. There are 6 branches being completed, namely Urology-Reproduction, Cardiology-Respiration, Neurology-Psychiatry, Gastroenterohepatology, Tropical Infectious Diseases, and Musculoskeletal. The 2023 RMO event was attended by 204 medical students from 25 universities.

The FK Undiksha Student Representative in the field of Tropical Diseases succeeded in getting 1st place in the preliminary round and passed the semifinal round in 4th place. The preliminary round consisted of a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) exam totaling 120 questions. In the semifinal round, participants must pass the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) stage 2 and the Objective Structural Clinical Examination (OSCE) which assesses the ability to take anamnesis, physical examination, and management and prescription writing. The success of the FK Undiksha Student Team in RMO 2023 cannot be separated from the support and guidance of the FK Undiksha teachers who have provided valuable direction to the students.(Red_FK)
