Singaraja –The selection of ISMKI 2023 National Outstanding Medical Students was completed on 28 – 30 September 2023. The delegate from FK Undiksha was I Putu Krisna Wiryantara, a 7th-semester medical student class of 2020 with a supervisor namely Dr. dr. Ni Luh Kadek Alit Arsani, S.Ked., M.Biomed.
The selection of outstanding students begins with regional-level selection. At the regional level, selection has been carried out in the form of file selection, interviews, case studies, and scientific papers. The FK Undiksha delegation succeeded in winning Mapres 2 ISMKI Region 4 in 2023.
The winners in the regions will be re-selected in the 2023 ISMKI National Outstanding Medical Student Selection. The initial stage of selection carried out is the selection of project idea files and essays. Then, 6 finalists were selected from the four regions, namely Gajah Mada University, Udayana University, Andalas University, Riau University, Ganesha Education University, and Indonesian Islamic University.
Next, stage 2 selection was carried out in the form of interviews and case studies, as well as stage 3 selection in the form of presentations of scientific papers and project ideas which were carried out during the ISMKI National Coordination Meeting.
The final results of the 2023 ISMKI National Outstanding Medical Student Selection are as follows.
