A hernia occurs when the abdominal muscle layer weakens, as a result, muscle or fat can fall out and form a bulge. Usually, the groin area is the location of a hernia. In general, a hernia will occur if an organ breaks through a weak wall or tears the cavity that contains it.
In presenting the material, he provided a lot of information about hernia disease. He also said “The type of hernia that is often found in general is the inguinal type of hernia. Inguinal hernias occur more often in men than women, of 100 hernia sufferers, more than (70%) seventy percent are inguinal hernias. This is characterized by part of the intestine protruding through a hole in the lower part of the abdomen, near the groin, called the inguinal canal. An inguinal hernia is defined as a condition where part of the intestine enters through a hole in the abdominal wall into the inguinal canal. The inguinal canal itself is a tube-shaped channel which is the path where the testicles (testicles) descend from the stomach into the scrotum (scrotum) just before the baby is born.”
How to find out? “To find out, you can feel whether there is a bulge where the thigh and groin meet. The protruding part of the intestine can enter the scrotum, which can cause swelling and pain. Another symptom is pain in the area when you cough, lift something heavy, or bend. “Inguinal hernias require surgery to repair them. In the postoperative period, you can use magnetic hernia pants as a medium for further therapy,” explained Doctor Surya.
The enthusiasm of the participants in this activity was very well proven by the participants’ activeness in asking questions related to the topic “HERNIA” in this scientific seminar. The answers were given very well by the speakers at today’s scientific seminar. (hms)
