The Undiksha Faculty of Medicine’s Solidarity and Family Action (ASK-FK) is a series of activities to commemorate the anniversary of the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University. This year, ASK-FK took the theme “Harmony in Equality” which means equality for the sake of creating harmony. Every individual has differences which are often seen as obstacles in every activity. Through the theme “Harmony in Equality”, existing differences can be overcome with the principle of equality, where this equality will slowly create harmony for the entire academic community at the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University. The activities consisted of several series of events to enliven the 2nd anniversary of the Faculty of Medicine, Undiksha.
Umesco, an abbreviation for Undiksha Medical Scientific Competition, is a series of ASK-FK activities in the form of a national-level poster and essay competition with the theme “Student Actualization Through Creativity in Facing the Covid-19 Pandemic”. This activity takes place from 28 August 2020, which is the opening of registration, until 24 October 2020, which is the final of this activity. After the competition was fierce, the winner of this competition was found, namely the Scientific Essay competition, which was won by Ni Luh Prema Shantika Putri, who is a student at Udayana University who won 1st place, Hilman Taofik Hidayah, a student at Muhammadiyah University who won 2nd place, and 3rd place was occupied by one Ganesha University of Education student, Kadek Edy Sukarma. In the Public Poster Competition, the Udayana University student group chaired by Ni Nyoman Ari Purwaningsih won 1st place. 2nd place was won by a student group from Hang Tuah University chaired by I Putu Bagus Dirgantara Dusak. 3rd place was won by a student group from Diponegoro University chaired by by Idha Arsila, and the student group headed by I Putu Bagus Dirgantara Dusak also won Favorite Champion.
Apart from that, a National Webinar was also held on 27 October 2020 as a series of ASK-FK activities this year. This webinar takes the theme “Sexual Education: It’s Not Taboo, But You Must Know!” presented by several presenters. This webinar began with the provision of Ns material. Putu Ayu Emmy Savitri Karin, S.Kep., MNS who is a lecturer at Udayana University. He presented material on the topic “Management of Post Traumatic Sexual Abuse Patients”. After that, it continued with the presentation of material from Dr. Dr. Made Nyandra, Sp.KJ., M.Repro., FIAS who is a lecturer at Dhyana Pura University. He presented the topic “Sexual Disorders, What Are They and What Are the Signs?” and ended with providing material on the topic “Sexual Abuse, Speak Up!” from Dr. Dr. Retty Ratnawati, MSc who is a representative of the National Commission Against Violence Against Women. This activity went smoothly, this activity was not only attended by Health Students or Health Workers, but there were people from various professions who participated in this activity.
After the series of ASK-FK activities ended, it was continued with the Undiksha Medical Faculty Internal Competition which was attended by the entire Undiksha Medical Faculty Academic Community. There are several competitions being contested, namely, Chess Competition, E-Sport Mobile Legend, Vocal, Short Movie, and Tiktok which will be held from 24 to 26 October 2020.
After all the activities were carried out, we arrived at the end of the event, namely the Peak Night of ASK-FK 2nd which was held on October 30 2020 via teleconference media. This activity consisted of announcing the winners and showing videos for each competition which ended the 2nd series of Solidarity and Family Action activities at the Faculty of Medicine, Undiksha. Hopefully, as we get older, we can be more successful and continue to work in producing a young generation of quality and benefit to others.
