Singaraja –Standardization is one of the references in carrying out all activities. It’s not just students who have to understand academic standardization, lecturers are also obliged to understand this. For the lecturer category, ToT activities (Training of Tutors) are the main forum for understanding the standards of being a tutor for students.
In preparation for the implementation of clinical clerkships for Undiksha Medical Faculty students, the Faculty of Medicine held activities Training of Tutors (TOT) clinical supervisor lecturer at the community health center. This activity was carried out of course to support the creation of standardization of clinical supervising lecturers at community health centers which are the educational vehicle for the FK Undiksha medical professional education study program.
The ToT activity was chaired by Dr. Komang Hendra Setiawan S.Ked, M.Kes (Chair of IKM FK Undiksha) and was held for 2 days (18-19 February 2022) online. The number of resource persons invited to this ToT activity was 10 people (9 people from FK UNUD and 1 person from the South Denpasar Health Center). For ToT participants there are 20 community health centers in Buleleng Regency where each community health center is represented by 3 people (1 Head of the Community Health Center and 2 accompanying doctors)
In the course of this ToT activity, in the beginning, the activity was opened by the Head of the Buleleng Health Service, Mr Dr. Sucipto, S.Ked., M.A.P, Dean of FK UNUD Mr. Dr. Dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes and Dean of FK Undiksha, who on this occasion was represented by Deputy Dean I of FK Undiksha, Mr. Dr. I Putu Suriyasa, M.S., PKK., Sp. OK.
It is hoped that with this ToT activity, supervising lecturers will have a uniform/standardized understanding regarding teaching methods for clinical clerkship students. Apart from that, ToT activities will also be able to increase the achievement of FK Undiksha’s accreditation scores in the future. (DFK)
