Singaraja – Located in the Auditorium Room, Floor III of the Undiksha Faculty of Medicine Building (7-8 November 2022), the Tourism Medicine Training activity at the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha Education University took place. This event was held in a hybrid manner (online and offline). Opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Undiksha, represented by Deputy Dean I, Dr. Putu Suriyasa, MS, PKK, Sp.OK, this activity received very good enthusiasm from participants, both students and lecturers.
This training is a training that provides knowledge and skills regarding health and the added value of health, namely wellness. The material offered is in the form of tourism medical and health concepts, tourism health service management patterns, spiritual healing modalities, yoga, and hypnotherapy. Through learning using the Think, Pair, and Share method, as a final bill of training, participants can develop basic concepts and map concepts into simple program proposals related to travel medicine, health, and wellness tourism.
The learning approach in this course is student-centered learning. The method used is the Think, Pair, and Share method. Thinking is provided with expert lectures and independent reading sessions of materials and articles. Pair with group division and group discussions as well as practical sessions. Share with group project presentations. This training contains synchronous sessions via Zoom and asynchronous sessions via Undiksha e-learning for independent learning sessions.
This training involves Collaboration partners, namely, the Indonesian Tourist Doctors Association (PERKEDWI), Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Faculty of Medicine, Gadjah Mada University, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Warmadewa University and Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia.
