Ganesha Education University integrates the D3 Midwifery Study Program into the Faculty of Medicine (FK). The Midwifery Study Program was previously under the Faculty of Sports and Health (FOK). This integration, which will take effect from the beginning of 2021, cannot be separated from the suitability of the scientific clusters and the D3 Midwifery study program which is the embryo of the founding of FK. The signing of this integration took place in the Ganesha I Room of the Rectorate, Monday 25 January 2021.
Undiksha Chancellor, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., said that the integration of this program was based on academic studies and analysis. Therefore there are no problems, either from FOK, D3 Midwifery Study Program or FK. “Everyone thinks of goodness. Because of its close scientific knowledge, midwifery is at FK. “So friends at FOk are very supportive because they think bigger for the progress of Undiksha and the survival of the medical study program,” said the Chancellor.
This integration also adds to the study program at the Faculty of Medicine, which previously only had a medical study program and a medical professional study program. The presence of the D3 Midwifery study program is expected to contribute to accreditation at FK, whose field assessment by the Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes) is planned to take place in December 2021.
“Because currently FK is carrying out study program accreditation, where LAM-PTKes will actually come to us or for field assessments. If the online one is already running. It is true that we have to be able to meet the requirements requested, perhaps a larger student body, there have been graduates from that faculty. “That means that by now bringing midwifery from FOk to FK, it will help a lot and increase the fulfillment of LAM-PTKes demands,” said Jampel.
The integration policy is of course followed by adjustments to the allocation of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) in the two faculties. It was emphasized that the allocation would be given proportionally, with the hope that the programs that had been designed in 2021 could still run. “This includes the 2022 PNBP allocation, of course there will be adjustments. We at the leadership want the best for these two faculties. “There is no harm,” said Chancellor Jampel.
On this occasion, FOK and FK were invited to continue to work together in realizing Undiksha’s future targets, both becoming a trend setter and reputable university and accelerating the realization of Undiksha’s vision of becoming a superior university based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy in Asia by 2045.
During the signing, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I, Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Administration, Finance and Human Resources, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., and Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs, Alumni and Public Relations, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd. The event was also attended by the Head of the General and Financial Bureau, Ni Luh Wayan Yasmiati, S.H., Deputy Dean II FOK and FK, Head of the Internal Supervisory Unit (SPI) and Planning Section. |NP|”
