Singaraja –Herodicus Medical Scientific Writers of Undiksha (Hermestha) is a Semi-Autonomous Body organization that operates in the scientific field at the Undiksha Medical Faculty. As an effort to improve scientific abilities and maintain its existence among students and the general public, Hermestha FK Undiksha held a 2nd Scientific Webinar activity which contained material from various inspiring sources in the scientific field.
Hermestha’s nd Scientific Webinar activity which took place on February 27 2022 took the theme “Empowering Bright Generation with Scientific Literacy” which means that we as a generation of change (agents of change) are expected to have good literacy skills in the field of science and mastery of science and technology. . This is because with good scientific literacy, you will be able to create work that is creative innovative, and useful for human civilization so that it can create a brilliant young generation for Indonesia in the future. This 2nd Scientific Webinar activity was held on February 27 2022 online and offline and was opened directly by the Deputy Dean I of FK Undiksha, dr. I Putu Suriyasa, M.S., PKK., Sp.OK. This activity was attended by hundreds of participants from various study programs at Ganesha University of Education as well as general students outside Undiksha.
This 2nd Scientific Webinar activity invited 2 FK Undiksha lecturers as resource persons. The first resource person was Dr. Ni Nyoman Mestri Agustini, M.Kes., M.Biomed., Sp.N. He delivered material on “Scientific Thinking as the First Step in Producing Creative and Innovative Work”. The second speaker was Dr. Aditya Prabawa, M. Biomed., Sp.OG. This time he delivered material on “Presentation Strategies for Achieving Achievement”.
The hope of Edy Sukarma as chairman of the committee is that this activity can have a positive impact in advancing superior human resources in the scientific field and can produce the nation’s next generation who master science and technology for Indonesia’s future progress. (DFK)
